DIN Standard Cap Production
Our DIN cap production line covers the three most widely used pharmaceutical closure formats: DIN 18 (18mm), DIN 20 (20mm), and DIN 22 (22mm). These standardised neck finishes ensure universal compatibility with glass and plastic bottles from all major container manufacturers.
We produce screw caps, tamper-evident closures, dropper caps, and child-resistant variants across all three DIN formats. Multi-cavity moulds (8 to 32 cavities) enable competitive unit costs even for custom colours and configurations.
Material Options
PP (polypropylene) is our standard material for DIN caps, offering excellent chemical resistance, FDA/EU food contact compliance, and cost efficiency. For enhanced seal performance, we offer HDPE and LDPE options. Speciality materials include PP with antimicrobial additives and recycled PP (rPP) for sustainability-focused clients.
Liner options include EPE foam (standard), induction seal foils (hermetic seal), PTFE-faced liners (chemical resistance), and silicone liners (pharmaceutical purity).
High-Speed Production
Our dedicated cap production cell operates 24/7 with automatic material feeding, robotic part handling, and inline quality inspection. The 32-cavity hot-runner mould for DIN 18 caps produces 28,800 closures per hour at a 4-second cycle time.
Colour changes are managed in under 30 minutes thanks to our purging protocol and dedicated colour-specific hot runner tips. We maintain stock of white, black, and natural caps for immediate dispatch.
Quality System
ISO 9001:2015 certified. Inline vision inspection checks every cap for dimensional accuracy (thread pitch, bore diameter, overall height), surface defects, and colour consistency. Statistical process control (SPC) monitors 12 critical dimensions per cavity.
